Aloha Tax Changes

Using your USER NAME and PASSWORD log in to Aloha Manager.

On logging in to Aloha Manager, go to Maintenance, Menu and Taxes.

On opening the Taxes Screen, change the amount of the Tax rate field from 15 to 17.5%.

Once the Tax rate has been changed, Save and exit out of the taxes page.

Finish the procedure by uploading the changes to the tills.

Uploading your changes to the tills

There are two ways of changing the tills. Firstly, it’s advisable to check that everything is ok in the database. To do this, go to Utilities, Verify Data.

The last line ‘No errors found’ is what you need to see.

Secondly, any other changes require a system refresh. This reboots the tills so that they read the new system information from the server. You MUST NOT refresh when someone is using the tills as it can lead to corruptions in the transaction log. To avoid this situation, either make your changes first thing in the morning or just make sure that no-one will be using the tills for 1 minute.

To Refresh the tills, go to Utilities, Refresh Data where you’ll be prompted with:
