Changing the Item Prices after the VAT Rate change in Datasym Stockade

Firstly, perform a database backup by opening the Datasym File Zipper.

Now click on Zip.

The status bar will move across and when it's finished click on Exit.

In Stockade, go to Procedures, Cash Registers, and select the Price Changes.

Select the Utilities button..

Select the option “Generate Price Changes Template”

Give your template a name and select the Location, Group(s) and Supplier(s) that you want the price changes to affect.

Click on the OK button. You will then be asked if you wish to “Load Template Now?” select Yes. Do not tick any of the following options and just select OK.

You will now see the items and the current prices that are going to be affected in a list.

Again click the Utilities menu button and this time select Group Pricing.

You can now select what percentage you would like to increase/decrease the selected products prices. I.e. “-2.5” you must use the “-” if you want the price to be reduced.

Click on the OK button and you will now see the modified prices to be applied.

Click the OK button and the price changes will be applied in Stockade ONLY.

You must now send changed products to the terminals as you would if you had changed or created new products.
